1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ToolsForDevs.dev ("the Service", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ToolsForDevs.dev provides a collection of free online developer tools that process data entirely within your web browser. Our tools include, but are not limited to:

  • JSON Formatter
  • Base64 Encoder/Decoder
  • UUID Generator
  • Timestamp Converter
  • URL Encoder/Decoder
  • Hash Generator
  • Other developer utilities

3. Use of Service

3.1 License: We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal and commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

3.2 Restrictions: You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service excessively
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices

4. Service Provided "As Is"

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content: All content on the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and the compilation thereof, is the property of ToolsForDevs.dev and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Your Content: You retain all rights to any data or content you input into our tools. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content. As stated in our Privacy Policy, all data processing happens locally in your browser, and we do not collect, store, or transmit your input data.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ToolsForDevs.dev and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ToolsForDevs.dev and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

8. Third-Party Services

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by ToolsForDevs.dev. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We use:

  • Google AdSense for displaying advertisements

9. Changes to Terms

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding the Service and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have had regarding the Service.
